Helvetica

Though I thought the documentary was kind of long, I found it very informational. Every scene showed another culture that was affected by this face type. In Amsterdan it's used everywhere, and in the United States it's used for company brands and logos because it proves to be the most neutral when dealing with the public.
But i do believe that type face should individualize. That's why have so many. It let's the people express who they are and what they stand for. But all in all, helvetica is still a revolutionary type face.

Poster Project

Poster Project

I wanted to do a poster about something I hold very dear to me. I have been having medical issues here and there, for the past few years. I have been losing large amounts of my hair. But my family and I always find time to donate our hair. Even though I'm losing mine I'll give as much as I can.
I drew my own image and then put it into illustrator. After that, i pen tooled every thing. I wanted a stylized background so I but a baby blue background and darker polka dots. Added some flares to not make it feel so bland. And lastly, I added the text.

CGR- 2nd Logo

Revised Logo

Original Logo

I decided to redo this logo because it is such a familiar face to the video game world. I also thought it was kind of plain and needed a new face. I tried to make it simpler and a little more fun by getting rid of the "square" and adding ^2 to the end of enix. I still kept the same font so it could be recgonizable, but smaller and more modernized for the updated world.

CGR- Logo Revision

Revised Logo

Original Logo

I chose to redo this logo due to the fact that this station had changed for the worst. This station showed music videos everyday back in the 80's and now it's degraded down to shows that have nothing to do with music, such as Teen Mom and 16 & Pregnant. Music on this station is now an urban legend.
